Kali is a managed care pharmacist with the Chicago office of Milliman. Her areas of expertise include managed care, formulary management, pharmacy benefit operations, pharmaceutical pipeline, and high-cost specialty prescription medications. She supports clients across the pharmacy supply chain with analyzing medical and prescription drug data and provides insight into available opportunities to improve healthcare spend or clinical outcomes. Kali holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona, and prior to joining Milliman, she completed a managed care pharmacy residency with a Medicaid / Medicare managed care organization. During her residency, Kali supported a variety of programs focused on improving clinical outcomes, while also optimizing resource utilization, including formulary management, pharmacy trend analysis, quality improvement, patient engagement, and provider education.
